Sibi Samuel, MOT, OTR

Sibi earned a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2014 and a Master of Science degree in Childhood Education from the City University of New York/Lehman College in 2009. Having come from a family of medical professionals, she decided to break the mold and pursue her passion for working with children in the form of teaching. However, after meeting an occupational therapist at a birthday gathering, Sibi’s innate interest in health care was sparked. It wasn’t long before she realized that pediatric occupational therapy was what she had been searching for all along, allowing her to combine both her love of working with children and her continuously growing interest in health care. Sibi enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, her Golden Retriever Jax, and 3 active nephews. She is a firm believer of “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” .

Anna Pashas, COTA

Anna's Path to occupational therapy began early on in her college career while attending the University of Texas at San Antonio. While in school, Anna worked as a nanny for a family with special needs children. So when it came time to complete a health care internship for her undergraduate program, Anna's background with special needs children and previous interest in therapy lead her to choose an OT clinic located in Houston that specialized in sensory integration. It did not take long for her to fall in love with occupational therapy! The job description of a COTA that worked at the clinic inspired Anna to pursue an Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Lonestar Community College upon graduating with a BS in Community Health from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In her spare time, Anna enjoys staying active in the gym and salsa dancing on the weekends. She also enjoys quality time with family and friends.
